Marylouise decided she would be a full time homemaker the day she brought her first child home from the hospital. Her interests have always included cooking, gardening, flower arranging, decorating, and more recently beekeeping, and because of her artistic talent she has a natural ability for these things. She enjoys entertaining and has cooked and shared her home with family and friends all her life. When she realized the hole that would be left in her home when her children were grown and away she decided to further develop her interest in oil painting and many of her paintings reflect her love for farm animals, bees, the countryside and the American West. In the last few years she has designed and built (with a tremndous amount of help from many!!) what has become Honey Tree Hill Farm. The farm hosts the bees and flowers as well as American Quarter horses, Katahdin sheep many varieties of chickens, geese and ducks! The downstairs of the barn is a studio and stalls while the upstairs is listed Airbnb for guests to stay and enjoy the property.
